Statistically speaking, most people believe in God. However, most people do not follow God’s ways. They believe in God, but they turn to other sources for their guidance in life. They believe in God, but what they hold as important is influenced by things other than God. They believe in God, but their standards and principles are based on the world around them instead of on God. So the battle is not as much about convincing people that God exists, but rather convincing them that His ways are superior.
Healthy habits of a follower allow us to experience the truth of what Jesus said when He said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” God’s ways are just simply healthier for us. As Christians we should live the example and be able to explain that “life to the full” doesn’t just start when we enter eternity, it started when we started following Jesus.
