Welcome to Miamitown Church of Christ!

Thanks for visiting our Website. We would love to see you in person on a Sunday! Here are some things you might be curious about:

  • Some of our people show up in jeans and a t-shirt, some like to dress up, but to us the most important part is that you are here with us, seeking God together.
  • Our services are around 75 minutes. They don’t feel like a rock concert, nor do they feel like you are at a funeral.
  • We are simply an authentic group of people and you will see that from those who greet you at the door to those who are leading from the stage.
  • If you have children, we have an excellent children’s ministry, “MCC KiDS.”  It is safe, secure, and fun.
  • If you have teens we have something for them also!  Visit our “MCC Students” page to see the growing opportunities we are building.
  • You might be curious about what we believe, visit our “What We Believe” page.
  • To see what we value as important check out our Mission and Core Values page.

Websites and other “promotional material” can say all sorts of things, but the best measure is to join us for a worship service on a Sunday and see for yourself. Feel the friendliness of what church should feel like, be inspired and challenged by God’s Word, and connect with God through singing or listening to the worship songs. We also have a number of fun events through the year that we would love to have you share in with us!

You can call the office, email a church staff member or the Elders with any questions you might have, or just stop by on a Sunday morning!

See you Sunday,

Dusty D.

My 2025 MCC Reading Plan

Reading through the Gospels in a Year

  • Step 1: Schedule and commit to the same time each weekday.

  • Step 2: Read about 10 to 20 verses each weekday – about 2 minutes of reading every weekday.

    • Option 1 – As a devotional:

Spend some time taking in what you just read, meditate on it, and spend some time in prayer about the Bible verses you just reflected on.

    • Option 2 – As a Bible study:

Take additional time to study the verses you just read, define words, cross reference with other scriptures, and ask “How does this fit in the immediate context and of the context of the Gospel it appears.”

  • Step 3: Sometime over the weekend reread all of the verses from that week in one sitting – this will take between 10 to 15 minutes on your Saturday or Sunday.

Father, I want to grow closer to You, live more like your Son, and be more attentive to Your Holy Spirit in my life. Please bless and guide each individual as we read the pages of your soul saving Gospel. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
