Our Summer Series of sermons will focus on “Making a Difference” in various circles of our life. Working from the inner most circle of our personal life and as the circles widen to our family, our work/school, and finally to our society. Through all of these series we will be modeling our life after being like Jesus.
As Christians…
We were created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness (Eph. 4:24)
To love like Jesus (Eph. 5:2)
To live like Jesus (1 John 2:6)
To do what Jesus said to do (Luke 6:46)
To be formed into the image of Jesus (Rom. 8:29; 2 Cor. 3:18).
In May we will be focusing on the inner-most circle, “Making a Difference… In My Personal Life.” To look in the spiritual mirror and evaluate a few areas that we can be more like Jesus in. To pray like Jesus, to spend time like Jesus did, to handle our anger like Jesus, and to pursue a relationship with God like Jesus. To be like Jesus in our personal life.
