Matthew 1-2
"The Messiah"
December
God’s plan of bringing the Messiah was filled with the use of many people, of many different backgrounds, with many different personalities, over many years, in many different places, and in many different ways. Could it be possible that God still uses people to achieve life changing, Kingdom size results?

"Walking in
His Footprints "
January
Most of the places Jesus went, He traveled on foot. Can you imagine walking down a dusty road and seeing the indention of His footprint? What direction was the footprint pointed? Where did it come from? What news accompanied it? What hope? What truth? What teaching? What counsel? How can we follow in His path, if we don’t first look at His path? And once we have seen His footprint, the tougher question is “am I willing to place my foot inside of His footprint?”

"Share"
February
God brought us such a gift through His Son Jesus. Forgiveness, grace, the wisdom in His teachings, the comfort of His love, and the example of His life. We know about these great gifts because from the time we see Jesus enter the scene to the time of His ascension into heaven He was constantly sharing about them. Now we have a responsibility to follow His lead and share just the same. Do we need a sign to get started? Jesus gave one. How are we to share? Jesus gave us that as well. Who is expected to share? Yup, He gave that answer, too.

"Let Me Illustrate "
March
Jesus constantly shared stories to illustrate points of great importance. Some of the stories He told are referred to as “parables.” Not only did Jesus illustrate points of great importance with these stories, but He also lived His life as one big example. As we close the Gospel of Matthew and head into Easter we will take a look at some of the final truths and virtues that Jesus illustrated both through parables and through His last hours before the cross.
