Worry. Most of us have felt the weight of this word at one time or another. Sometimes we find ourselves worrying about insignificant things. At those times it’s a bit easier to step back and realize that we shouldn’t get so worked up over something so petty, but what about the times when we worry about significant things or important things? Are they worth all of the stress that worry brings? Should we worry about things like our health or our financial security?
I believe we should be concerned about important things in our lives, but I don’t believe we should worry about them. In this series we will look at the comfort and encouragement that God’s word gives on some of our societies top topics of worry.
As we close the Gospel of Matthew and head into Easter we will take a look at some of the final truths and virtues that Jesus illustrated both through parables and through His last hours before the cross.
