Miamitown Bicentennial Celebration

Miamitown Bicentennial CelebrationHappy 200th Birthday Miamitown!

Miamitown is turning 200 and you are invited to serve and share in this great celebration.

Serve:

Volunteer Positions:

Join in the festivities on Saturday & Sunday, October 1st & 2nd as Miami Historical Society will be hosting the Miamitown Bicentennial Celebration along with participating area businesses. Some of the festivities include making and riding on a float, food booth, history of the church, refreshment, open house, or maybe you have other ideas that you would like to share. If you are interested in heading up or participating in the festivities, please contact
Chuck Beyer ASAP.

Be Part of the Float:

We are looking for volunteers and participants for our church float—“Celebrating Miamitown Through the Years.” Would you like to help decorate? Sign up at the Information Center. Would you like to ride on the float? Pick a time era (1816-2016) and find a costume. Sign up at the Information Center for that time period. Don’t delay. There is only room for 10 people on the float. Aren’t really interested in either . . we need donations of candy (no chocolate, please) to pass out during the parade.

Share:

In addition to serving we also want to share in this celebration with our community.  Plan to attend October 1st & 2nd.  For more information Click Here!
