Dusty creativity motivates and challentges in the Sunday morning messages, using sound Biblical truth, practical application, interactive learning, and rumor has it you'll have lots of fun in the process! In addition to preaching Dusty is also the minister over the Growth POD, the group of ministries involved in promoting spiritual growth in the church: the Preaching Team, the Worship Teams, Growth Groups, and Small Groups. I also handle, er, I mean “Dusty” also handles the church Web Page.

Hobbies / Personal Interests:

Tae Kwon Do (Hi-Yah!). Light saber battles and wrestling matches/tickle fights with my boys. Movies with my wife. PC gaming: Racing (fan of the NFS series), RPG’s (can’t wait for Diablo III), and the occasional FPS. Picnics in the park with my family. The Sunday "lunch bunch" small group. Oh yeah, and I play a little guitar too.

Pet Peeves:

Most anything negative, negative comments, negative criticism, negative attitudes, negative people, negative numbers in my bank account, negative temperatures, the list just goes on and on. . . Oh, and when they play Linkin Park on WEBN, come on, that's not rock.

Favorite Child TV Shows:

Land of the Lost, The Dukes of Hazzard, The A-Team, Knight Rider, The Greatest American Hero, Mork and Mindy, The Muppet Show, Friday night Kung Fu Theater with the smell of Dad grilling hamburgers and my mom’s baked beans coming from upstairs.

Current Favorite TV Shows:

Survivor, My Name is Earl (I just discovered how funny this show was so now I’m catching up on the whole series), Criminal Minds, and Hell’s Kitchen (when it's in season). I just went through a “TV taste-bud change.” This time last year the list would have been How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, and Legend of the Seeker (I’m still pretty torqued that this only ran for two seasons).

Favorite Dessert:

Special occasion deserts: Cheesecake or Key Lime Pie
Casual occasion deserts: Apple pie with vanilla ice cream (if you don’t have the ice cream I don’t want the pie, it’s a package deal) or brownie with ice cream (if you don’t have the ice cream, um, yeah, I’ll still eat the brownie)
Anytime desert: Ice Cream
