Demographics studies and statistics show that the topic of “finances” is an important topic for a majority of people. Yet we are a little “stand-off-ish” when it comes to talking about this subject in church.
God’s Word has a lot to say about the subject of money, finances, generosity, trust, provision, the concept of the “Tithe,” and many other topics centered around finances. There are many reasons to seek God’s wisdom on this topic. Connected with God’s wisdom on this subject is an expectation for His people to trust Him with their finances. For four weeks we will be reading a book together called “Take God at His Word” by Dr. Kregg Hood and then gathering on Sundays to be challenged together as we dive into God’s Word on the subject of money.
