Core Beliefs

God:

God is the Creator of all things visible and invisible. He is one God, who exists in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  He has always existed, lives today and will forever be.

Jesus Christ:

Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God.

  • Sent from the Father

  • Born of the virgin Mary

  • Conceived by the Holy Spirit

  • Walked on earth without sin

  • Fully human and fully divine

Because of God’s love for us, through obedience Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. After three days, God raised Him from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. Jesus ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father, and will return to earth to judge both the living and the dead.

The Holy Spirit:

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, guidance in doing what is right and the ability to be a witness of God’s love and grace.

The Bible:

The Bible is God’s Word to all men. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is infallible truth.

Man:

Man was created by God, made in God’s image. Man willfully disobeys God. This disobedience called “sin” separates man from God.

Eternity:

Man was created to live forever. After this life, man will continue to live in one of two real places:

  • The first option: he will receive forgiveness for his sins and be reunited with God spending eternity with Him.

  • The second option: he will reject God’s offer for a relationship, remain separate from God because of sin and spend eternity in Hell.

About Salvation:

The Problem:

  • God loves mankind and wants all people to live in a relationship with Him forever, but humans constantly fall themselves short of God’s glory.

  • Because of this mankind is without the hope of earning the right to have a relationship with God and spend eternity with Him.

The Solution:

  • Jesus Christ offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice to pay for our sins.

  • Salvation is then offered to mankind as a gift from God.

Receiving the Gift of the Solution:

  • As with any gift in order to receive it you have to accept it.

  • According to various parts in the Bible we understand that acceptance of the gift of salvation is dependent on a response through faith, belief, repentance, baptism and a lifestyle that confesses that you solely belong to Christ.

  • We believe that all are equally important and equally involved in our response to receive this amazing gift.
